If you have a true medical emergency, please call 911 first, then call the office.

ROUTINE TELEPHONE CALLS

  • Calls are accepted from 9:00 am to 12 pm and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The front staff may transfer you to our medical assistant who is trained to triage calls and will ask you questions about your condition to help in handling the call and schedule appointments. We are pleased to say that we have a full-time receptionist so your call is most likely to be answered directly or returned within a very short period of time.

  • If you are asked to leave a message, please leave as much detailed information as possible, including your name, phone number, and details about appointments, referrals, prescriptions or billing questions you may have. Every effort will be made to return your call the same day.

  • During the lunch hour, and after-hours, your calls will be taken by our new electronic answering service. Please listen to the prompts carefully to achieve your needs. Urgent medical issues will be returned by the doctor as soon as possible. (See after-hours policy below.)

AFTER-HOURS CALLS

After-hours calls should be limited to emergent medical matters. When you call our office number after-hours, you will be greeted by an electronic answering service. Again, please listen carefully to the prompts to achieve your need. Urgent medical needs will be returned by the doctor as soon as possible. On occasion, your call may be returned by a doctor you have not met but who is qualified and in close contact with your doctor.
